Ipil, ZamboSibugay: A
kidnap for ransom group (KFRG) underling was captured in a joint operation of
the Zamboanga Sibugay police and 3rd Maneuver Company of Provincial Public
Safety Company.
The
arrested leader was said to be the second in command of the Barahama Ali KFRG.
Police
named him as Hassim Calon a.k.a. “Ging-Ging Calon” or “Hussien Ali.”
Calon
was captured in Brgy. Tenan last Dec. 11, based on a warrant for kidnapping and
serious illegal detention.
Meanwhile,
in Imelda, a certain Rey D. Yap, facing an outstanding warrant, was arrested
for theft during an operation against wanted person in Balugo, Dec. 12.
