CITY--Another person under investigation (PUI) is tested positive of Covid-19, Thursday
morning at MHARS-Medical Center, latest information from Mayor Ando Oaminal
said.
This
latest confirmation was posted by the mayor in his facebook page.
The
PUI is a 68-year old resident from Tudela, this province and is now admitted at the MHARS-MC. He had a travel history from Cebu City and was first tested negative a few days after he arrived.
To
recall, a 45-year old seaman from Jimenez, Misamis Occidental with travel
history from Thailand and Manila is the first confirmed case for COVID-19 in
the province last March 29.
Oaminal
said since the two are not from this city, everyone may remain calm while
observing social distancing and continue to be at home.
“We
shall get through this only if we cooperate together,” Oaminal said.
