Tan mulls extending GCQ

OZAMIZ CITY-The limiting of people's movement to access of essential commodities, necessities and work may continue to a specified time from now.

This after Gov. Philip Tan said that a particular situation exist that calls for the general community quarantine (GCQ) to be stretched forth.

To remember, Tan has placed this province in GCQ last March 18 and to end on April 2, Thursday.

It is not yet known until when will be the extension as Tan has yet to issue a formal order.

"We are inclined to extend the GCQ," was his statement in facebook.

The recent announcement of a positive confirmed case of a PUI from one of the municipalities here offered the explanation.

The PUI is said to be a returning resident who is supposed to be barred entry or to undergo health protocol, but he was seen in many places without having a particular purpose. (M.MEDINA)
